Dinosaur Footprints & Sedimentary Rocks

27 Aug 2012

Students made their own wet clay pans, imprinted them with dinosaur footprints and let them set for a few weeks. This was one of the sedimentary rocks they made in their Earth Science. They also made Rocky Road using chocolate plus bits of lolly snakes (fossils), Banana lolly(Limestone) Skittles (river pebbles) as an artificial conglomerate. They made bath bombs as artificial limestone and they made concrete rocks.

The Photographs show students with their Dinosaur Footprints models.
