Henley is endeavoring to introduce the topic of Earth and Environmental Science in 2018 as a senior subject in year 10 with subsequent implementation of a year 11 and 12 course in 2019 and 2020. Henley currently covers Earth Science topics through its science course in the Middle School, focusing on Earth Processes, Plate Tectonics and Planetary Science.
Henley's focus with Earth and Environmental Science will be centered around sustainability and problem solving for future Australia. STEM will be utilised to develop the students' abilities to work through projects involving environmental impacts and processes and advance their thinking when implementing solutions.
