The Nature Education Centre sells and loans to schools a variety of natural history specimens and geological materials, such as rocks, minerals and fossils. Their aim is to enrich learning by providing children with hands-on experiences and activities.

Opening Hours
Monday to Saturday from 1.30pm to 5.30pm, including school holidays
(Closed on public holidays and for 3 weeks over the Christmas – New Year period)
Membership
Members of the Nature Education Centre pay an annual subscription that entitles them to borrow from the loan collection, receive 10% discount on purchases, and receive NEC newsletters.
The annual subscription for 2014 is $100.00.
Non-members may purchase materials.
